Candidate Services

Well, as one of our values is clarity, let's clear up something here and now - "Where are the vacancies on this website?" Well, we don't have them on our website. Why? It's all to do with our service offering - we are a Search firm so we tend to head hunt people for our clients on particular assignments. We are not a job board. We do not send candidates' CVs out to a wide number of firms.

There are principally two ways in which we engage with candidates:

1. When we have headhunted you:

Chances are that if you are reading this we have made an approach to you and you are in some way curious as to how we might work with you. Above all else rest assured that we will deal with you in absolute confidence. Our reputation depends upon discretion. We understand that you may wish to proceed cautiously at times during the selection process, particularly during the early stages. As and when matters progress, we will make sure you are well prepared prior to interview and well briefed afterwards. We will not try to force you into interviews or roles which are not right for you. We will do our best to offer you sound counsel and good career advice. We can assist and advise on Business Plans once that stage is reached. We will never send your CV anywhere without your prior consent.

2. Candidate Representation

As the market has improved, we have enjoyed increased success in working with candidates to find new career opportunities for them. In these instances, we work in tandem with you and agree a "target list" of potential new employers. We then discreetly approach these firms and companies on a "No names" basis (thereby protecting your anonymity) to gauge if they have any potential interest in someone with your skill set. We proactively telephone these potential employers - we do not simply email your CV out. We let you know where this is potential interest and broker your introduction to the firm from there, once you have agreed that you would like to explore the opportunity. From that point, we work with you and the firm(s) to manage the selection process, ensuring confidentiality and a highly personal approach throughout.

Personal

We are not a huge corporate recruitment agency and you are not just a name on a database. We want to understand what you want from life and from your career so that we can work with you effectively. We take our work seriously, but it's a lot more pleasant if we can have the occasional laugh together!
