Our business model is based around working in depth with a relatively few clients across our chosen markets.
At Langdale Search & Selection we offer a range of services to clients, all based on the premise of offering a more proactive approach than is offered by recruitment consultancies which base their offer around a candidate database. Why? With the occasional exception, we do not believe the best candidates are to be found on databases and evidence in the market points to the fact that too many vacancies are taking far too long to fill. Above all, we seek to listen to our clients in order to understand their needs and to then maintain high levels of communication throughout the recruitment process.
We offer five main services. In each case, contact us for a fuller illustration of our process and fees for each service:
Gold Search
This is our most comprehensive service. Here, we agree a candidate profile with you. We then identify every potentially suitable prospect with you. We then approach them on a confidential basis - we headhunt them. Once engaged, prospects are screened, interviewed face to face and the most suitable and interested parties are presented to you for interview. We then work with you and the prospects to bring the Search to a satisfactory conclusion. We feel strongly that this is the most effective method of recruitment and offers the highest chances of success. It is characterised by three critical elements:
- Priority - We only handle so many Gold Searches at any time and they are given Priority in our workload.
- Exclusivity - Candidates engaged on a Gold Search are exclusive to you - their details are not presented to any other organisation by us.
- Thoroughness - From the breadth of the initial research to the depth of detail in the process in executing the Search, this is our most thorough service.
Silver Search
With a Silver Search we agree a tighter, smaller target pool with you - we focus on those most likely to be suitable for your role. Again candidates are engaged, screened and interviewed (face to face where possible). Again, we work with both parties through to a successful conclusion. It is a speedy, expedient service offering solid process and limited exclusivity and priority.
Advertised Selection
This is where we work with you to create a recruitment advertisement to place in appropriate media. We manage the response, screen and conduct face to face interviews and then work with you to reach a satisfactory conclusion. Advertised Selection can be particularly effective in targeting relocators.
Hybrid - Search & Selection
Here we run an advertisement in tandem with a Search, priority can be weighted towards either on an as needs basis. This method can be particularly effective - for example one can run a Search to prospect the local market and then run an advertisement to attract relocators.
Talent Mapping
With Talent Mapping we can work very flexibly with clients to help them investigate "Who's Who" in specified areas; or we can do set amounts of activity for clients on a monthly basis effectively working on a "Watching Brief" for talented individuals who may be interested in your organisation. As we said, this can be a very flexible solution where we can work creatively with clients to offer innovative solutions.
